Welcome to Tamborine Mountain Toastmasters Club
We are a very friendly relaxed club that believes in having fun as well as learning the art of public speaking and developing our self confidence.
Toastmasters is not just about public speaking, it also builds ones confidence so that they can handle any situation, learning to become a competant leader and also learning many business practices such as time management, planning, organising and executive roles, whilst meeting some wonderful people.
If you are interested in your own personal development and improving your skills and think Toastmasters is the way to go, then we invite you along to a couple of our club meetings, complementary, to see how things run. We would prefer that you contact our president or membership officer, so that we can expect you and make you feel welcome.
Once you have been to a couple of meetings and decided (like all of us) that Toastmasters is the best way to develop these skills they we invite you to join our club.
There are a couple of easy forms to fill in and a very reasonable one off joining fee to pay about $50. Then semi annual fees are paid twice a year( minimual for the growth you can achieve) and you are then voted into the club.
Each meeting a $5 fee is payable to cover hall costs and tea/coffee/bisc.
Then its all about learning and having fun and the more you participate and push yourself out of your comfort zone the more you will grow and get out of the club.
